The strength of men
Who fought and cared,
Who laughed and cried
And loved,
Was shown in these
Bonanza men,
The men we love to see.
Though each one
Cared in different ways
And each one had his flaws,
They all stood up
For what they believed,
And didn’t give up
When the going was rough.
They tipped their hats
And fixed the fences,
Showed their kindness
To friend and foe.
They stood for justice
When no one else would.
They presented what
True gentility
Could be—
These Bonanza men.
